Xiaomi a smartphone company from China has taken India by storm, their Xiaomi Mi3 was sold out in 30 minutes. Xiaomi has recently partnered exclusively with Flipkart to sell their smartphones. Flipkart's e-commerce website even crash frequently due to high volume of traffic.
Xiaomi did not reveal their actual sale but said that they were sold out after 30 minutes. Flipkart and Xiaomi required buyers to register between July 15 and July 21 for them to purchase a Mi3 smartphone. Only those who have registered will be eligible to buy the device.
Xiaomi claims that they are competing with Apple’s iPhone. Pre-registrations for Xiaomi Mi3 that will be sold on July 29 have now started.
