Samsung Galaxy Note 7: Details, Specs, Screen And Features Launch Date

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is said to be the best smartphone of 2016 that would easily top other top smartphone in the market today the Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge or iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. According to tech blogs there will be a lot new features that will appear on the Galaxy Note 7 and it will also have the  top features found in the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge.

A lot of people are very excited to what will be confirmed and refuted about the device come launch day.

Here are some of the rumors about the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 so far:

Display - they said it will have a dual-edge curved display. It will also have a 5.7-inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440 resolution) Super Amoled display with a pixel density of 518 ppi. The protective glass casing is Gorilla Glass 5.

Design - rumors has it that the Galaxy Note 7 will feature a glass and metal design similar to the previous Galaxy Note 5. Dimensions of the smartphone will be 7.8mm x 153mm x 74.5mm. It will also make use of S-Pen stylus. Since it has a unibody design it would probably have a non-removable battery.

It will also have a mircoSD slot for memory expansion and a USB Type-C port basing on the leaked USB Type-C cable.

It will also have an IP68 water and dust resistance rating. Expected colors will be Black Onyx, Silver Titanium and Blue Coral. There are also pink and gold color options.

Specifications - rumors said that it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chip for the US market and Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chip for other market. It will have a 6GB of RAM, and will start at a 64GB internal storage for its base model other expected model will be the 128GB storage model. It is said to be expandable using microSD up to 265GB.

It may feature a non-removable 3,600mAh battery.

Software - It would likely run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow since Android 7.0 Nougat has not yet been released.

Camera - Rumors suggest that it would come with a 12-megapixel camera with a f/1.7 aperture. Camera features may include geo-tagging, simultaneous 4K video and 9-megapixel image

The Galaxy Note 7 is expected to introduce an iris scanner to Samsung’s smartphone line.

Release Date - The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will be unveiled on August 2, 2016 at an Unpacked event in New York City. It is said that the new smartphone will be available in stores the same day, and T-Mobile may begin offering preorders for the device ahead of the launch event.

Sony TV new Z series, Very Expensive

Sony new high-end Z series TV is now the top in terms of picture quality and they are brighter compared to other in the market today. Sony unveiled the Z series TV on July 20, 2016 in Los Angeles and is now available for preorder from Sony. They will ship by the end of summer. The price starts at $7,000. It is also available in Europe and UK with a brand name called Bravia ZD9 and costs 5,000 EUR (about £4177). The Z series also offers a 75 inch for $10,000 and 100-inch model no price yet for this one.

The new Sony Z series television boast Backlight Master Drive which combined the backlight system and the processor is 4K HDR Processor X1 Extreme.

ZTE Axon 7 Pre-Order $399

ZTE, a China based multinational telecommunications equipment and systems company announced last May the new ZTE Axon 7 and it was initially launched in China. Now, it will become available internationally. It is now available for pre-order in the US with a starting price of $399. This is a really affordable flagship smartphone.

For that affordable price you'll get, an all-metal design smartphone with a 5.5-inch QHD AMOLED display, Snapdragon 820 processor, 20MP f/1.8 rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), 8MP f/2.2 front camera, 3250mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0, USB Type-C port, dual speaker setup with a dual Hi-Fi chipset (Dolby Atmos surround sound), and a fingerprint reader.

They have released two models but in the US the ZTE Axon 7 will have 4GB RAM and 64GB storage with a microSD slot version. t measures 151.8 x 75 x 8.7 mm, weighs in at 185 grams.

The phone will work on GSM networks like AT&T and T-Mobile. Shipping will start on July 27.

HTC Nexus M1 Marlin

Google’s upcoming Nexus devices will be more powerful according to leaks. Google’s next Nexus devices that will be manufactured by HTC would each deliver the same set of high-end specs, the first benchmarks for one of the models has been seen online, suggesting that both smartphones will offer some serious performance when they launch later this year.

Phone Arena posted the benchmark of the Nexus M1, or better known as "HTC Marlin." The "google marlin" smartphone test on Geekbench, gave a single score of 2084 and a multi-core result of 4969. For comparison, iPhone 6S had a score of 4417. 

It shows here that the Nexus M1 Marlin will run on the just announced Android Nougat 7.0.1. It will also come with a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with a 1440 x 2560 resolution. Under the hood, the Nexus M1 will be powered by the Snapdragon 820 SoC with a quad-core CPU and the Adreno 530 GPU.

According to sources it will have 12-megapixel rear camera and a 8-megapixel selfie front camera. It will also have a fingerprint scanner at the back of the device. It is said to be equipped with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB/128 GB of memory. There will be 2 speaker grilles at the bottom of the device.
