HTC is betting on success with its latest new entry-level smartphone, the Wildfire E2. The budget smartphone has already been released in other countries particularly in Russia which has a market price of 8,760 rubles or 119 USD. It is offered in two colors, black and blue and it is made of plastic. It is equipped with features such as a budget MediaTek processor (Helio P22 chip) and dual-rear camera setup, a 16MP primary camera at the back with a 2MP depth sensor. While the selfie and video call front camera is 8MP. It comes in with a 6.21-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch at the top and is powered by  a 4,000mAh battery. It has a 4GB of RAM and a 64GB storage configuration. It also supports up to 128GB additional storage via microSD card.  The HD+ display resolution is at 720 x 1560 pixels, with an aspect ratio of 19:5:9, and a pixel density of 271 PPI.

China-based smartphone manufacturer Huawei has launched their Mate 10 series Huawei Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro, and Mate 10 Lite. If you compare Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro, their main difference is the shape and the screen size. Mate 10 has a 5.9-inch 2560 x 1440 LCD while the Mate 10 Pro has a 6-inch 2160 x 1080 OLED. Both of them have thin, symmetrical bezels at the top and bottom. While Mate 10 Lite which is a mid-range phone has a 5.9-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 2,160 by 1,080 pixels. The Lite has a minimal bezels and doesn’t even leave enough room for a physical Home button on the bottom.

Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro come in “mocha brown” or “pink gold,” with additional black and gold finishes for the Mate 10 and blue and gray colorways for the Pro. They have also released a Porsche Design special edition Mate 10 that boast a “diamond black” finish. LG V30 Smartphone

The new LG V30 is a very powerful smartphone specially its camera. Samsung Galaxy Note 7: Details, Specs, Screen And Features Launch Date

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is said to be the best smartphone of 2016 that would easily top other top smartphone in the market today the Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge or iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. Specifications - rumors said that it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chip for the US market and Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chip for other market. It will have a 6GB of RAM, and will start at a 64GB internal storage for its base model other expected model will be the 128GB storage model. It is said to be expandable using microSD up to 265GB.

It may feature a non-removable 3,600mAh battery.

Software - It would likely run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow since Android 7.0 Nougat has not yet been released.

Camera - Rumors suggest that it would come with a 12-megapixel camera with a f/1.7 aperture. Camera features may include geo-tagging, simultaneous 4K video and 9-megapixel image

The Galaxy Note 7 is expected to introduce an iris scanner to Samsung’s smartphone line.

ZTE Axon 7 Pre-Order $399

ZTE, a China based multinational telecommunications equipment and systems company announced last May the new ZTE Axon 7 and it was initially launched in China. Now, it will become available internationally. It is now available for pre-order in the US with a starting price of $399. This is a really affordable flagship smartphone.

For that affordable price you'll get, an all-metal design smartphone with a 5.5-inch QHD AMOLED display, Snapdragon 820 processor, 20MP f/1.8 rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), 8MP f/2.2 front camera, 3250mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0, USB Type-C port, dual speaker setup with a dual Hi-Fi chipset (Dolby Atmos surround sound), and a fingerprint reader.

They have released two models but in the US the ZTE Axon 7 will have 4GB RAM and 64GB storage with a microSD slot version. t measures 151.8 x 75 x 8.7 mm, weighs in at 185 grams.

The phone will work on GSM networks like AT&T and T-Mobile. Shipping will start on July 27.

HTC Nexus M1 Marlin

Google’s upcoming Nexus devices will be more powerful according to leaks. Google’s next Nexus devices that will be manufactured by HTC would each deliver the same set of high-end specs, the first benchmarks for one of the models has been seen online, suggesting that both smartphones will offer some serious performance when they launch later this year.

Phone Arena posted the benchmark of the Nexus M1, or better known as "HTC Marlin." The "google marlin" smartphone test on Geekbench, gave a single score of 2084 and a multi-core result of 4969. For comparison, iPhone 6S had a score of 4417. 

It shows here that the Nexus M1 Marlin will run on the just announced Android Nougat 7.0.1. It will also come with a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with a 1440 x 2560 resolution. Under the hood, the Nexus M1 will be powered by the Snapdragon 820 SoC with a quad-core CPU and the Adreno 530 GPU.

According to sources it will have 12-megapixel rear camera and a 8-megapixel selfie front camera. It will also have a fingerprint scanner at the back of the device. It is said to be equipped with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB/128 GB of memory. There will be 2 speaker grilles at the bottom of the device.

ZTE Axon 7, 4GB RAM, Snapdragon 820 and 2K screen for just $450

ZTE a Chinese multinational telecommunications equipment company, has unveiled the Axon 7, the successor to last year's Axon flagship. ZTE Axon 7, just like its predecessor offers high-end specs and materials at a fraction of the cost.

The smartphone boast Qualcomm's highest-end processor the Snapdragon 820. You can choose between 4 or 6GB of RAM. It is equipped with a quad HD AMOLED display, a metal chassis, quick charging, and a new dual-speaker system with Dolby surround sound.

Usually, smartphone with similar specs runs for around $700 and upwards, however ZTE promises that the new smartphone will cost under $500 when it arrives in the US in the coming weeks.

The Axon 7 improves its design and display. It is designed by a BMW's DesignWorks firm, it now have a full metal unibody with rounded corners and edges, that's nice to hold. It comes in two colors gold and grey.

The display is a significant improvement from the previous flagship phone, it is now equipped with a 5.5-inch AMOLED panel with the aforementioned 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution and curved edges. It's protected by a Gorilla Glass 4. The colors are rich and vibrant and the contrast levels is outstanding.

It will come in two variants the Axon 7 64GB model with 4GB of RAM and the 128GB version with 6GB. ZTE said that they are not yet committed in offering the 128GB version in the US. Both versions have microSD slots for expansion.

Both variants are powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 processor clocked at 2.2GHz and have 3,250mAh batteries with Qualcomm's QuickCharge 3.0. The company said that the quickcharge system gives you 50% charge level in just 30 minutes of charging or a full charge in 100 minutes.

Camera wise, the Axon 7 boast a 20-megapixel main camera with OIS (optical image stabilization), f/1.8 lens aperture, and 4K (30fps) video capability. The phone's front selfie-camera has 8 megapixels of resolution. A USB Type-C port is used for data transfer and charging.

The sound system has a dual-speaker setup with both on the front of the phone. It provides stereo sound and can copy surround sound environments. It was really impressive.

The Axon 7 will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, and ZTE says it will be upgraded to Android N when that is made available later this year.

The 64GB model with 4GB of RAM will cost about $450, while the 128GB version with 6GB is a bit pricier at $640.

The ZTE Axon 7 will work with AT&T, T-Mobile, and related MVNOs when it launches, though ZTE says it will also work with CDMA carriers such as Sprint and Verizon once it receives technical approval from them. Once it hit the market it’ll be available through ZTE’s online store, Amazon, Best Buy, B&H, eBay and Newegg, and will be sold with a free 2-year warranty.

High Tech Computer Corporation (HTC) a Taiwan base smartphones and tablets company has just release their latest flagship Android handset called "HTC 10". It has an elegant aluminium chassis. It is equipped with a versatile UltraPixel camera and an upgraded specifications across the board.

The HTC 10 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with 4GB of RAM. It runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It has a 5.2-inch Quad HD display with resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. It has plenty of power with 3000mAh battery that will last up to two days of battery life accroding to HTC. Internal memory is at 32GB which is more than enough for your videos, photos and games. In 2017, Microsoft is likely to release three new Windows 10 Mobile smartphones. It will target three markets, the average consumers, higher-end market, and the enterprise users. The best thing that I love with my Samsung Galaxy S7 EDGE Platinum Gold is its head-turner large curved screen and its long lasting battery life. The only thing I don't like about this phone is the price, it's expensive. It can hurt your wallet really bad at $780.

The secondary menu bar is amazing, it's very useful for me since it is easier to go to your favorite apps and tasks. The camera is crisp and you cannot ask for a better camera on a smartphone. The expandable storage is very useful specially for people like me who stores a lot of pictures, songs, videos and games.

OnePlus 2 Oxygen OS 3.0 Update (based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow)

OnePlus is now testing OxygenOS 3.0 for OnePlus 2. It is based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. OnePlus promised that they will roll out an update for the OnePlus 2 to the next version of OxygenOS built on top of Android Marshmallow by the first quarter of this year. Only a few has have received the update, which seems to be a test.  This new version of Android will give you tons of new features like the Doze mode, Do not disturb mode or the granular app permissions.

The OxygenOS also has a new slider to controll notification alerts, it also let user to customize the phone’s home screen, there's a new Floating Action Button for widgets, and new collection of background wallpapers.

North America Smartphone Sales Dropped 6.5% in the fourth quarter of 2015

Smartphone business is now highly saturated specifically in the high end models from established Samsung and Apple and, from Chinese makers like Huawei and Xiaomi. According to a report from GfK a research firm from Nuremberg, Germany smartphone sales in the fourth quarter of 2015 reached $23.9 billion in North America which decreased from $25.6 billion for the fourth quarter of 2014.

In the U.S., smartphone sales in the fourth quarter of 2015 was $20.5 billion, down from $21.8 billion for the same periods.

Other region which experience major declines in the fourth quarter of 2015 was Latin America, which saw a 12.7% decrease. In Cenral and Eastern Europe the sales in value decreases by 10.8% though their unit sold actually increased by 3.6%.

However, in China smartphone sales are experiencing huge increase of 12%. China’s influence is massive, with double the number of smartphones sold compared to any other region, at 106 million for the quarter, GfK reported.

OnePlus 2 Quick Review

OnePlus is a Chinese smartphone manufacturer founded in December 2013 they are based in in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. They make smartphone which have similar specifications to a high end smartphone but have lower price. Their OnePlus One offered excellent performance and display quality however the camera isn't that great but for a $300 smartphone, it's an awesome deal.

Their latest flagship smartphone the OnePlus 2 have some upgrades, the system on chip (SOC) was bump from Snapdragon 801 to 810, RAM is now LPDDR4 DRAM. The battery capacity is increased. Camera sensor is also increased in size, from a 1/3.06" format to a 1/2.6". Connectivity both both cellular and WiFi networking were improved. It is now equipped with fingerprint scanner. However, all this upgrades comes with a price the starting price is now $329.

OnePlus 2 Mini Rumors

Recently a 4.6-inch mysterious handset that is equipped with Snapdragon 810 was revealed. It was seen on GFXBench benchmarking site and people assume that it is "OnePlus 2 Mini". It has  been listed as “unknown” smartphone on GFXBench. However, on the site it revealed that the mysterious handset is a 4.6-inch display full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It will run on Snapdragon 810 chipset 1.7 GHz that is equipped with 4 GB of. Internal storage is at 64 GB.

Camera will be 12-megapixel camera that will support 2160p video shooting. The front-facing camera will be of 5-megapixel. The handset will arrive preinstalled with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
