Acer Inc., a Taiwan-based computer company unveiled their new Chromebooks that are built tough for classroom environment. The company revealed five new laptops (4 Chromebooks and 1 Windows convertible).

| Chromebook Spin 512 |
The two Chromebooks namely Acer Spin 512 and Spin 511 are Intel-based convertibles. Both are powered by Intel processors N4500 and N5100, respectively. The Spin 511 is equipped with an 11.6-inch HD 16:9 display, while the Spin 512 boast a 12-inch HD+ 3:2 display. Both laptop has up to 64GB of storage, and 8GB of RAM, while battery life is rated up to 10 hours. The two laptops are also equipped with antimicrobial scratch-resistant displays, but the Spin 512 also features a similar antimicrobial coating on its keyboard and touchpad. The Spin 511 starts at $399.99 while the Spin 512 starts at $429.99 and will be available in North America from April.
In addition to the new Spin convertibles, Acer has also unveiled the 2021 versions of two of its 11-inch Chromebook laptops, the Chromebook 511 and Chromebook 311.

The new Acer Chromebook 511 powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c processor, features 4G LTE connectivity and can go for up to 20 hours on a charge. While the Chromebook 311 is powered by the MediaTek MT8183 processor and the battery can last up two 20 hours. It also has an HDR webcam and can be upgraded with an optional touchscreen display. The 311 launches this month in North America and is priced starting at $299.99, while the 511 is coming in April starting at $399.99.

The fifth laptop is the new Windows TravelMate Spin B3 laptop for education. It’s also a convertible like the other entries in the Spin lineup, with WiFi 6 connectivity and a 5-megapixel webcam on its touchscreen display. It is powered by an Intel Pentium Silver processor with as much as 12 hours of battery life. It was designed tough with military-grade durability. You can also opt to purchase it with LTE connectivity and/or with a Wacom pen. The device will be out in North America in April with prices starting at US$330.
