Gregory Bryant of Intel said at 2013 Computex Taipei tech show that they have a power-plus-battery formula to fixed processor's speed draining battery life.
“I know it seems really simple, but if you could leave the charger at home and do your work all day as you’re traveling around, I think users would really value it,” Bryant said.
Intel announced to Computex that its fourth generation Core processors could increase battery life by 50% and raising speed as much as 15%.
“It’s the largest battery life improvement we’ve ever had generation to generation in our history. To me 50% is a number an end user is really going to notice the difference in” Bryant said.
