Rumored Microsoft Surface 3
There are reports (on WinBeta) that Microsoft will unveil the successor to Microsoft Surface 2 and it is rumored to use the full Windows 8.1 experience instead of the Windows RT operating system. It is also expected to boast an Intel Atom or Core M fanless CPU.
The new Surface 3 having a lower spec compared to the current Surface Pro 3 should be more affordable. Microsoft seems to be phasing out Windows RT, suggesting that the future versions will have Windows 10 functionality. Windows 10 is a major overhaul of the current Microsoft operating system, it may include new UI paradigms like Continuum and compatibility with a wide array of devices that include PCs, tablets, phones, IoT hardware and wearables.
Microsoft is expected to announce the Surface 3 tablet in time for Microsoft's Build conference starting April 29th.
