Xiaomi RedMi 2 sold 35 million units in first half of 2015
Xiaomi, China based smartphone manufacturer is increasing their share in the smartphone market as they sold over 35 million smartphones in the first half of 2015. In the first half of 2014 they sold 26 million units, they have increased their sale by 9 million or 30%.
The company also expects to sell between 80-100 million units this year compared to 61 million units in 2014.

Redmi 2 don't have buttons on the front side of the phone. The front facing camera is located at the upper left corner of the smartphone. The buttons (power and volume) can be found a the right side of the unit. The back cover is matte-finish.
At the back side of the phone you can find the 8.0 megapixel camera with LED flash, and speakers are placed at the top.
Redmi 2 weights only 133 grams, with 4.7” display. It is thinner than its predecessor with 9.4 millimeters width.
Its screen is made of DragonTrail Glass that is scratch-resistant. A USB cord is included in its retail box.
