Huawei Shows their 7-inch MediaPad X1 phablet, 8-inch MediaPad M1 tablet, and Huawei TalkBand B1




Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. which is a Chinese tech company which specializes on telecommunications equipments has unveiled their latests devices MediaPad X1, MediaPad M1, and their first wearable device TalkBand B1 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014.

MediaPad X1 is a 7-inch phablet has the functionality of a smartphone and a tablet. The casing is a full aluminum alloy unibody which makes it sturdy and tough.

Specification:
- 1.6 GHz quad-core processor
- Android 4.2 Jelly Bean
- 5000 mAh battery (21 days of standby time or 5 full days of continuous use and reverse charging)
- 13 megapixel Sony Exmor R BSI rear-facing camera with panoramic shooting
- 5 megapixel front-facing camera

The phablet weighs 239g and is 7.18mm thick. The screen is 7-inch 1200 x 1920 Full HD LTPS touch display. It also has an 80% screen-to-body ratio.

MediaPad M1 is an 8-inch tablet 800 x 1280 HD IPS multi-touch capacitive screen with dual front-facing speakers and microphones.

TalkBand B1 is a smart watch that enables the user wireless calling with a Bluetooth 4.1 earpiece. It has a 1.4-inch flexible OLED display and supports Android 2.3+ and iOS 5.0+ compatible devices, and syncs via NFC.

It is equipped with a wireless calling support as its display area, which can be removed and used as a Bluetooth earpiece.

The device has a health feature that wirelessly monitors your activity time and progress like steps taken, how long did you run or walk, and calories that you have burned.

It also monitors and records your sleep time and the quality of sleep.

The device weighs 26g and it is 14.6mm thick. It has a removable 9.4g earpiece. It is powered by a 90mAh battery that lasts for six days and charges in two hours with the USB connector.

Huawei TalkBand B1 will be released in the market in China from March 2014, and in Japan, the Middle East, Russia and Western Europe from Q2 2014. While the Huawei MediaPad X1 will be sold in China, Russia, Western Europe, the Middle East, Japan and Latin America from March 2014. Huawei MediaPad M1 will be available on the first quarter of 2014 in Europe, Russia, the Middle East, China, Japan, Asia Pacific, Australia and Latin America.
